Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN for per diem shifts at the RMA of New York Long Island in Melville, NY. The position offers a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time schedule with compensation of $45 to $47.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

As part of a national network of fertility centers, you will collaborate with physicians and teams across our organization, delivering patient-centered perioperative care and support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2–3 years of operating/procedure room or PACU experience preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access and input information in computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and use good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial preoperative assessment and develop a plan of care for the patient.
• Identify patient care problems and formulate effective care plans.
• Provide comfort measures and support to patient and family.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients under anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications via IV and other routes as directed.
