Job summary

Silver Cross Surgery Center in New Lenox, IL, is hiring an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) and PACU RN to provide expert perioperative care. The Circulator RN will position and prep patients and circulate cases, while the PACU RN ensures safety, recovery, and discharge planning with a focus on patient comfort and privacy.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, active IL RN license, BLS and ACLS, at least 1 year of circulator experience, and strong nursing judgment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in IL.
• BLS & ACLS required.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• The Circulating RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases, positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• The PACU RN provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, safety, comfort and privacy, and assists with recovery and discharge planning as needed.
