Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an OR Supervisor to oversee nursing operations in the operating room, maintain monthly medication inventory, update protocols, and coordinate training and compliance across the department. You will supervise staff, ensure patient safety, schedule procedures, communicate with physicians, manage supplies, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards in a fast-paced GA facility.

This role requires RN license, BLS/ACLS, strong organization, and ability to multi-task; OR experience

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong communication with physicians, staff and patients.
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OR nursing operations and inventory management.
• Maintain monthly medication inventory and training records.
• Update OR protocols and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling of procedures across physicians and sites.
• Educate staff on sterile technique and safety procedures.
