Responsibilities

• Ensure surgical procedures are scheduled and executed efficiently, minimizing delays.
• Staff the department with appropriate nurses, technicians, anesthesiologists and others.
• Manage patient flow, preop and post-op care, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor quality and regulatory compliance, and lead continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care and policy development.
