Job summary

Responsibilities include staff recruitment, budgeting, policy adherence, and fostering interdepartmental collaboration; the incumbent will mentor nurses, lead committees, and maintain survey readiness to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• 3-5 years acute care nursing experience with at least 1 year in a Charge Nurse or supervisor role.
• BSN preferred; if not, BSN enrolled within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, select, and hire staff to meet patient needs.
• Develop and monitor annual unit budget including capitol, workforce, and operations.
• Demonstrate leadership through delegation, mentoring, and professional practice.
• Manage physician and employee complaints to optimize the work environment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national standards and maintain survey readiness.
• Participate in nursing/hospital committees and perform other duties as assigned.
