Job summary
Progeny HR Solutions LLC is helping a Fort Walton Beach hospital recruit an RN Manager - Surgical Services (RN MGR - OR). This full-time leadership role oversees 24/7 nursing practice, patient safety, and quality outcomes in the operating room.
The manager coordinates interdisciplinary teams, drives quality improvement initiatives, and ensures effective care coordination across hospital services for optimal patient experience.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent acute care OR leadership experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing
- Associate Degree or higher in nursing
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and accountability for safe, quality patient care 24/7 in the assigned OR department
- Directs care continuity with interdisciplinary teams and communicates with physicians and staff
- Develops and implements programs to measure and improve nursing quality and patient outcomes
- Coordinates patient care across hospital services to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintains equipment and supplies to ensure quality care and service delivery
- Participates in rounding and responds to patient needs to improve outcomes and experience
- Fosters a culture of patient-centered care and a calm healing environment
