Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in acute care or operating room.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Registered Nurse license (RN).
• ASN is required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and accountability for safe, quality patient care 24/7 in assigned departments.
• Directs continuity of care using an interdisciplinary team approach with physicians and staff.
• Develops and implements programs to measure and improve quality of nursing care and safety.
• Coordinates patient care with other hospital services and departments.
• Ensures equipment and supplies support quality care.
• Participates in roundings and improves patient outcomes and experience.
• Fosters patient-centered care and a quiet healing environment.
