The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks an OR Nurse Circulator/Scrub in New Britain, CT. You will organize and deliver specialized patient care in the Operating Room, aligned with AORN, ASPAN, and SGNA standards.

Qualifications include CT RN license, BLS; ACLS within 6 months if not held; BSN preferred; 1 year acute care and 2 years surgical experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• CT RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS to be obtained within 6 months if not possessed.
• 1 year of acute care; two years surgical experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively and work closely with physicians and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room.
• Organizes and administers individualized nursing care per hospital policies and standards.
• Participates in patient teaching and considers age/cultural needs in planning care.
• Involved in quality improvement activities.
