Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Perot Surgery team. This full-time day shift position involves OR circulator duties, patient assessment, and care planning in a fast-paced surgical environment with 24 OR suites.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma, RN license on hire, 1 year RN experience or RN residency, and BCLS. BSN is preferred and ACLS is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma required.
• BSN preferred and RN license required on hire.
• 1 year RN experience or RN residency completion required.
• Experience circulating in the Operating Room.
• Circulating across service lines such as GYN, Urology, Breast Oncology.
• BCLS required on hire; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Performs OR RN surgery circulator duties and skills.
• Assesss and plans patient care.
• Intervenes and evaluates effectiveness of care.
• Uses age-specific safety and infection control measures.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and transfers.
