Job summary

ClearBridge Executive Search is assisting in locating an OR Nurse for an innovative healthcare setting in Delaware. The role involves direct patient care during outpatient surgical procedures, collaboration with the surgical team, and maintaining precise medical records.

A strong emphasis on patient-centered care and safety is required. Minimum 2 years of nursing and OR experience are required; orthopedic and ambulatory surgery center experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience.
• Orthopedic experience strongly preferred.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients during outpatient surgical procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changing clinical situations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support patient safety initiatives and infection prevention protocols.
• Assist patients through various stages of care, including altered states of consciousness.
• Utilize sound clinical judgment in routine and emergency situations.
• Promote compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Support a positive and efficient surgical environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Orthopedic experience is strongly preferred.
• Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred.

Additional Information:
