Hartford HealthCare in Manchester, CT, is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for OR General Surgery. This Registered Nurse will lead patient care teams, supervise clinical staff, and manage daily unit operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requires BSN, CT RN license, BLS certification; at least 2 years of nursing experience. Duties include scheduling, resource management, quality improvement, and staff development within the OR General Surgery service line.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; incumbents must obtain BSN within 3 years.
• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current RN license in Connecticut.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a work group to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Oversee daily operations of the assigned area, including nursing and non-licensed staff.
• Manage resources, quality improvement, and payroll.
• Create and maintain colleague schedules.
• Monitor patient throughput to facilitate efficient clinical operations.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic unit environment, working as staff RN as needed.
• Support leadership in fostering standards of excellence and professional development.
• Participate in and may lead Performance Improvement work in the assigned area.
