Hartford HealthCare's Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the OR team. This role involves direct and indirect patient care in the operating room, with 4 eight-hour shifts per week and on-call rotation.

You will work under the nursing department's philosophy, provide education and develop care plans for patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Maintains current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
• Bachelor's degree in field of Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year OR nursing experience required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct and indirect patient care per assigned area.
• Address age-specific needs and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families; support privacy and confidentiality.
• Direct ancillary staff using sound judgment and knowledge.
• Ensure patient, family, physician satisfaction.
