Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin in Milwaukee seeks a Surgical Equipment Coordinator to ensure the OR has the right instruments, implants, and supplies when needed, enabling exceptional patient care.

In this role you will bridge surgeons, OR teams, and key support departments, manage capital equipment processes in Workday, coordinate physician preference items, and collaborate with Supply Chain, sterile processing, and clinical engineering to keep operations efficient and safe.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in a related field.
• 2+ years as Surgical Tech or RN in OR.
• CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OR has right equipment, instruments, implants, and supplies.
• Coordinate capital equipment needs and physician preference items.
• Act as liaison between surgeons, OR leadership, Supply Chain, and other teams.
• Manage Workday procurement and capital reviews.
