Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking a PHARMACY TECHNICIAN FOR OPERATING ROOM & CRITICAL CARE on a part‑time, PRN or as needed basis at the Burnet Campus in Cincinnati, OH. Expected starting pay ranged at $21.50–$24.62 per hour, with potential shift and weekend differentials.

You will rotate through key pharmacy areas, support medication distribution, and ensure accurate compounding and delivery for patient‑specific doses, in a fast paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of pharmacy technician experience.
• Pharmacy technician certification or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Detail‑oriented with a team‑first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Performs unit dose preparation for cartfill and first doses.
• Prepares non‑sterile, non‑hazard doses for first fill or cartfill.
• Delivers patient specific doses.
• Prepares ADC replenishment.
• Compounds non‑sterile, non‑hazardous medications.
• Performs outpatient pharmacy phone triage.
• Performs insurance adjudication.
• Inspects medication storage and inventory.
• Interacts with hospital computer systems and dispensing machines.
