Cincinnati Children’s is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Technician at the Burnet Campus in Cincinnati, OH. The role operates in the inpatient pharmacy, performing unit-dose prep, compounding, and medication distribution across units with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

You will rotate through key areas, supporting pharmacists and care teams, with a 0.5 FTE schedule (20 hours per week) and a pay range of $21.50–$24.62 per hour plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active OH Board of Pharmacy registration is required.
• Must obtain PTCB and OH Board of Pharmacy certifications within 18 months of hire.
• ASHP-accredited program graduate or licensed as Pharmacy Intern or 6 months of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Medication Orders: unit dose preparation for cartfill and first doses.
• Compounding non-sterile, non-hazardous medications.
• Phone triage for outpatient pharmacy.
• Medical claims adjudication.
• Inventory management and ADC replenishment.
