Job summary

Midstate Radiology Associates is seeking an OR Core Technologist for MidState Medical Center in Meriden, CT. This full-time role supports OR, hybrid, and diagnostic radiology procedures with a 12:00 PM–8:00 PM shift and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include operating all radiology equipment, preparing patients, and ensuring safety while assisting physicians. Competitive hourly pay and a $10,000 sign-on bonus are offered to qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate AMA approved radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT.
• CPR certification may be required.
• Continuing education credits as licensure requires.
• One year experience as radiologic technologist.
• AS degree in related field; CT license.

Responsibilities

• Operate OR, Hybrid and diagnostic radiology equipment.
• Position patients and prepare contrast media for exams.
• Assist physicians in complex OR/Hybrid procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Maintain equipment and work area, report hazards.
• Input data in RIS and prepare images for interpretation.
• Collaborate with team to provide quality patient care.
• Provide supervision and instruction to students as needed.
