Job summary

UPMC East in Monroeville, PA, seeks a full-time Clinician to support the Operating Room. The Clinician will oversee General Surgery, Vascular, Urology, Gyne and UroGyne service lines in the OR and lead a team across daytime shifts, Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of OR nursing experience and a BSN. Candidates without a BSN may enroll in a BSN program within their first year. Strong surgical knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in the OR.
• BSN required; or enrollment in BSN within first year.
• Experience with General Surgery, Vascular, Urology, Gyne and UroGyne service lines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads clinical nursing practice and staff development, including evaluations and hiring decisions.
• Oversees patient care within the OR, ensuring quality and safety in accordance with standards.
• Provides orientation, training, and ongoing education for clinical staff.
