UPMC is hiring a full-time Professional Staff Nurse to join East Side Surgery Center’s Operating Room. East Side Surgery Center is a 4-OR outpatient center offering urology and ophthalmology cases. Great work-life balance with no evenings, weekends, or holidays.

The role tends to Monday through Friday daylight hours and requires prior OR nursing experience. Applicants will be placed on the Nursing Career Ladder based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• RN with active license (PA or compact state)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, no evenings/weekends/holidays

Responsabilités

• Develops and maintains productive relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Teaches patients and families about care and transitions.
• Applies the nursing process within Relationship Based Care to plan care.
• Participates in unit governance and quality improvement.
• Demonstrates adaptability and teamwork in changing environments.
• Documents care and communicates with other care providers.
