Job summary

Novant Health Kernersville Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to oversee day-to-day OR operations, keep cases on schedule, and ensure rooms and supplies are ready. You will troubleshoot issues as they arise and coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, vendor reps, SPD, and Materials Management to ensure instruments and supplies are available for each case.

Lead the OR team, manage staffing, and maintain regulatory readiness including audits, patient records, and logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; B.S. in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in North Carolina required.
• 3+ years in a critical care or healthcare setting required; ASC or OP suite leadership preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day OR operations; keep cases on schedule and ensure rooms and supplies are ready.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, vendor reps, SPD & Materials Management to ensure instruments and supplies are available.
• Manage staffing and assignments; lead the OR team and provide clear direction.
• Maintain clinical and regulatory readiness — audits, quality checks, and required documentation.
• May participate in circulating/scrubbing as needed.
