Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood is seeking a motivated RN OR Circulator to join our team. The RN will position and prep the patient and circulate the case in a fast-paced ASC environment dedicated to high-quality care.

Ideal candidate will focus on excellent customer service, multi-tasking, flexibility, infection control, and working within a multidisciplinary team. Cross-training and other duties may be assigned as staffing needs change.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current unrestricted RN license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position and prep the patient for surgery.
• Circulate the case and maintain sterile technique.
• Uphold infection control standards and work with the multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

The RN OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Employees may be cross trained in other areas of Surgical Services and may be expected to perform duties other than their normal duties as staffing and patient needs change as well as perform other assigned duties.

Required Skills:
