Job summary

Intermountain Health in Miles City, Montana, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Holy Rosary Surgical Services unit. The role is 24 budgeted hours per week, day shift with some on-call, and requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.

The RN must obtain a BSN within four years unless 15 years of RN experience in acute care; active RN license in state; BLS preferred; duties include preoperative and intraoperative support, aseptic technique, transport, and ensuring patient

Qualifications

• RN with active license in the state of practice.
• BSN must be completed within four years of hire unless 15 years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse; BLS certification preferred; BSN preferred.
• Must be able to perform essential duties, on-site, with ability to lift and move patients and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pre Operative: assist circulating nurse, prepare OR and ensure equipment readiness.
• Intra Operative: maintain aseptic technique, manage specimens, support surgical team, assist in patient positioning.
• Post Operative: assist anesthesia with transport and patient recovery, restock and clean OR.
• Regular attendance on site during scheduled hours; may work nights/weekends as required.
