Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room Circulator to join a fast-paced OR team in Hickory, NC. The position offers full-time day shifts with flexible scheduling: 4x10s, 5x8s, or 3x12s, plus a $20,000 commitment-incentive bonus and on-call requirements.

As part of Lifepoint Health, the 355-bed hospital emphasizes high-quality surgical care across 13 operating rooms with 15–30 cases daily.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
• 1–2 years of Operating Room RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the surgical setting using the nursing process.
• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Delivers care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Documents medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QA assessments.
