Los Alamos Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an OR Circulator RN for a full-time day shift. The role requires NM or compact-state licensure and ADN (BSN preferred). You will coordinate perioperative care, maintain sterile technique, and advocate for patient safety across all surgical phases.

Qualifications

• RN license in NM or Compact State
• ADN required, BSN preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS not mandatory but preferred and must be obtained within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across all phases of surgery.
• Perform preoperative assessments and verify surgical readiness.
• Maintain sterile environment and comply with standards.
• Advocate for patient safety before, during and after procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
• Document care, procedures, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Assist with positioning, specimen handling, and intraoperative monitoring.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
