Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Serve as the OR Circulator, ensuring patient safety and advocacy at all times.
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies, ensuring sterility.
• Perform pre-operative assessments, including IV insertion, vital signs, medication administration, and history documentation.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures in collaboration with physicians, anesthesia, and staff.
• Document procedural events in SIS EMR and ensure accurate records.

Job Title Duties (not limited to)

• Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after procedures
• Serve as the OR Circulator, ensuring patient safety and advocacy at all times
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and sterility
• Perform pre-operative assessments, including IV insertion, vital signs, medication administration, and medical history documentation
• Monitor patients throughout procedures in collaboration with physicians, anesthesia, and procedural staff
• Accurately document procedural events in SIS EMR
• Provide post-procedure monitoring, patient education, and discharge instructions
• Communicate patient status updates to family members as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain procedure room readiness and oversee patient, staff, and vendor traffic to reduce infection risk
• Respect patient rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality

Education & Experience Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in:Operating Room, Procedure Room, Ambulatory Surgery Center, or similar procedural setting
