Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking an experienced OR Circulator in Texas to support acute care surgeries. The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing and a valid Texas RN license with current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Minimum two years of OR experience in an acute care setting is required. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care, confirming surgical details, and maintaining sterile technique while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least an Associate Degree in Nursing from accredited nursing program.
• Current, unencumbered Texas RN License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification at time of hire.
• Minimum of 2 year OR experience in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Correlates clinical data with patient's medical and nursing care and set priorities.
• Communicates well with patients, families, co-workers, physicians, other members of the healthcare team.
• Adheres to all facility policies and procedures when providing patient care.
• Demonstrates ability to direct and provide for patient care in emergency situations.
• Maintains patient normothermia and provides emotional support and safety.
• Administers and documents medications as ordered by physician.
• Verifies surgical/procedure site with patient and schedule; secures signatures on consents.
