Job summary

Advanced Dallas Hospital & Clinics seeks a Nurse Circulator to deliver nursing care during and after surgery. You will position patients, pre-op prep, assist with sedation, and circulate the case across diverse specialties.

Requirements include Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS, and 2 years as an OR Circulator or OR nurse. BSN preferred. Must lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• RN Circulator or OR nurse experience required.
• Texas RN license required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS.
• Two years' experience in peri-operative nursing.

Responsibilities

• Position patient for safe alignment and exposure of surgical site.
• Assist anesthesia with monitor placement and patient at side during induction.
• Prepare operative site and confirm procedure with Surgeon history.
• Manage equipment connections and maintain sterile supplies.
• Perform counts and obtain sterile supplies as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional relationships.
• Participate in Quality Assessment for patient care improvement.
• Maintain clinical competencies and nursing scope of practice.
• Assess and respond to changing patient conditions promptly.
• Adhere to attendance policies and budget considerations.
• Perform other duties as required.
