USPI Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood is seeking an RN OR Circulator to join our fast-paced ASC environment, delivering nursing care during surgical cases. The RN will position and prep the patient and circulate the case while upholding the highest infection control standards.

The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, multi-task effectively, and show flexibility in assignments while collaborating with an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current unrestricted RN license.
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during surgery.

• Maintain infection control standards and work with multidisciplinary team.
• Cross-training in other areas may occur as staffing and patient needs change.

Job Summary:

The RN OR Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Employees may be cross trained in other areas of Surgical Services and may be expected to perform duties other than their normal duties as staffing and patient needs change as well as perform other assigned duties.
