Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Dearborn Hospital Operating Room and related surgical services. The RN will provide professional nursing care following the nursing process, with emphasis on patient-family centered care and safe discharge planning.

Required are an Associate's degree in Nursing and Michigan RN licensure, with a Bachelor’s degree expected within five years. Basic Life Support is required; OR circulator experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; bachelor’s in nursing within 5 years preferred.
• MI RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• 2+ years of acute care RN experience preferred.
• OR circulator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient/family centered care to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Leader and care team to discharge patients safely and educate patients and families.
• Document education and learning appropriately in the health record and ensure policy compliance.
