Job summary

Physicians Surgery Center of Chattanooga, an USPI-affiliated ambulatory surgery center, seeks an OR Circulating Nurse to provide nursing care during surgery cases and to position, prep, and circulate patients. Experience in ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and gynecology is preferred.

A strong focus on customer service and team collaboration is essential. The ideal candidate will hold a Tennessee RN license, be a graduate of an accredited RN program, and meet BLS/ACLS/PALS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Experience in ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology and gynecology preferred.
• Maintain scrupulous infection control standards and professional competencies.
• Work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
