Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse. You will join a high-volume surgical team in a 630+ bed network renowned for robotic surgery and advanced perioperative care.

Your role spans circulating, scrubbing, and RNFA/CNOR duties, supporting surgeons and PACU staff, while upholding strict aseptic technique and patient advocacy in line with AORN and Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN license.
• Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact with 90 days to obtain Texas license.
• Current BLS issued by American Heart Association required.
• 1 year OR experience as RN in a hospital.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality perioperative patient care in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and PACU teams.
• Prepare operating room: schedule checks, safety compliance, equipment setup, and chart accuracy.
• Administer preoperative meds and IV therapies; verify surgical site and patient positioning.
• Lead and participate in Time Out and universal verification procedures for safety.
• Circulate or scrub for procedures; support surgical team as RN First Assistant as needed.
• Monitor vitals and patient comfort; respond to complications with calm, decisive action.
