Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks an experienced RN Circulating to join the OR team. As a full-time Day shift RN, you will perform nursing processes, coordinate perioperative care, and support a culture of patient safety and evidence-based practice under nurse leadership.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in governance and quality initiatives, and mentor staff while upholding standards of care and professional ethics in a fast-paced operating room.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or nursing diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of RN circulating experience preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia or multi-state compact allowed; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Provide patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity and family involvement.
• Partner with patients and families via bedside rounds and teaching.
• Maintain current practice standards and documentation.
