Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing with OR/CSOR experience within the last two years.
• 2 years recent circulating experience in outpatient surgery center.
• BSN with scrubbing and circulating experience, upon hire.
• RN license in CA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Multi-tasks, organizes, and prioritizes patient care to achieve goals.
• Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs.
• Anticipates preparation of cases and needs to enhance team efficiency, e.g. punctual case start times and equipment readiness.
• Performs documentation on unit and patient records accurately and concisely.
• Initiates and investigates needed repairs, missing equipment, and follows through to resolution.
