Job summary

ORLANDO HEALTH ORLANDO REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER seeks an RN Advanced Care Circulating Nurse for its fast-paced Operating Room in a Level I Trauma facility. The role provides patient care for elective and emergent procedures across specialties, with a focus on critical assessment, patient advocacy, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The position requires graduation from an approved nursing program, Florida RN license (or eNLC), BLS, and ACLS/TNCC as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients undergoing complex assessment and therapies in the OR.
• Utilizes assessment data to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Identifies and prioritizes information to take decisive, evidence-based actions.
• Monitors specialized OR equipment and interprets electronic displays.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage the unit/department.
