BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL, is seeking an OR Care Tech to provide direct and indirect patient care under the oversight of an RN. You will assist in the operating room and recovery area, manage supplies and instruments, and support sterilization processes.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of procedural/perioperative in-patient care experience. The position is full-time with days and occasional on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Technical program completion or degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of procedural/perioperative in-patient care experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for surgery or procedures and assist in the operating room.

• Maintain supplies and equipment; support duties as assigned.

OR Care Tech Responsibilities

Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of and oversight of an RN. Responsible for supplies / equipment and performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to the preparation of patients for surgery / procedures; assists in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room; and performs support duties to include the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments and sterilizers.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• High School or Equivalent
• Preferred

• 1 year of experience in procedural and/or perioperative in-patient care.
