Job summary

BayCare Health System at the Bartow Medical Center is seeking an OR Care Tech to support perioperative services. Under the supervision of an RN, you will handle direct and indirect patient care, prep patients for procedures, and assist in the OR and recovery room.

Responsibilities include equipment and supply management and sterilization duties. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and a technical program completion or degree, with at least 1 year of related

OR Care Tech Responsibilities

Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks under the direction of and oversight of an RN. Responsible for supplies / equipment and performs other duties as assigned including, but not limited to the preparation of patients for surgery / procedures; assists in the operating room during surgery and in the recovery room; and performs support duties to include the cleaning and maintenance of supplies, instruments and sterilizers.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• High School or Equivalent
• Preferred
• Technical Program Completion or Degree
• Preferred
• 1 year of experience in procedural and/or perioperative in-patient care.
