Job summary

Summit Healthcare Association seeks a Perioperative Care Technician to assist the perioperative team with patient handling, environment care, and equipment transport. You will help position and move patients, transport specimens and x-rays, and support nursing staff in OR suites, upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires excellent customer service, ability to read and communicate in English, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• CPR/BLS Certification (required within 30 days of hire date).
• Basic computer skills (required).
• One-year related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assists perioperative nurse in the patient holding area.
• Positioning, moving, and lifting patients.
• Transports specimens, x-rays, and other items as needed.
• Assists with room turnover and total scrubs.
• Maintains cleanliness and supplies in OR and related areas.
