Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in the outpatient surgery center. You will help prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and ensure supplies are ready for each case.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail, with a day shift (10am–6:30pm) and 40 hours per week in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an Anesthesia Technician (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize & Maintain: Ensure all anesthesia supplies are properly stocked and maintained.
• Calibrate & Fill: Calibrate oxygen sensors on anesthesia machines and refill vaporizers as necessary.
• Support Operations: Work closely with the anesthesia RN to ensure smooth daily operations in the OR.
• Preparation & Setup: Prepare anesthesia carts and OR with the necessary equipment for each surgical case.
