Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to prepare OR and anesthesia equipment and supplies for general, monitored OR and regional anesthesia. You will also maintain inventory levels and support anesthesia services, with potential exposure to medications in restricted areas.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in an operative or invasive clinical setting, and BCLS certification upon hire. Certification as Cer.A.T. is preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in operative or invasive clinical setting required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Certification Upon Hire Required.
• Cer.A.T. - Certified anesthesia technician (Cer.A.T.) or equivalent certification Preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares OR and anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored OR and anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services.
• Maintains inventory levels of OR and anesthesia equipment and supplies. Job responsibilities may include proximity to medications while in areas with restricted access.
