Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers during operative procedures. You will prepare equipment, maintain supplies, and assist across pediatric to geriatric patients in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• Cer.A.T. - Certified Anesthesia Technician preferred
• 1 year direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred
• 2 years previous OR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists anesthesia providers and other health care members in providing care to the patient undergoing an operative invasive procedure.
• Prepares anesthesia equipment and supplies necessary for administration of general, monitored anesthesia care, or regional anesthesia and supports anesthesia services.
• Maintains inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Cares for child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive procedures
