UofL Health is seeking an anesthesia technician to assist in acquiring, preparing, and applying anesthesia equipment and supplies for safe administration of anesthesia. The role includes maintaining inventory, stocking rooms, and supporting the anesthesia team before, during, and after cases.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient monitoring devices, drips, lines, and ensuring aseptic technique. Candidates should have a high school diploma and BLS certification, with prior anesthesia

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College coursework in Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology preferred.
• Experience as anesthesia technician or patient-care role preferred.
• Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification required.
• Knowledge of sterile technique essential.

Responsabilidades

• Directs ordering anesthesia supplies and prepares equipment for operating rooms.
• Maintains equipment in proper working order and stocks surgical rooms.
• Supports anesthesia provider and responds to turnover between cases.
• Assists with monitoring devices, anesthesia delivery systems, medicines and supplies.
