Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital, part of the BJC HealthCare System in St. Louis, MO, is hiring a Full-Time Advanced Modality Technologist for Day Shift (Tue–Fri, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.). The role requires OR imaging expertise, C-arm/OR procedures, and strong teamwork in a high-volume setting.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available and travel between OR and ED imaging may occur. Qualifications include an Associate degree in a related field and RT(R) certification.

Qualifications

• Has 1 year of OR (C-arm) experience (preferred).
• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in OR settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Operates C-Arms and O-Arms in the operating room.
• Uses portable x-ray machines for intraoperative imaging.
• Provides coverage to portable x-ray team or ED x-ray team when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Role PurposePerforms diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of

diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
