Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  2. Explain procedures and processes to patients.
  3. Adjust imaging equipment to produce detailed, accurate images based on patient-specific factors.
  4. Practice radiation safety to minimize exposure.
  5. Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures.
  6. Process and review images for quality and proper identification.
  7. Prepare images for radiologist or physician review.
  8. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiologic equipment.
  9. Operate CT equipment and follow established protocols for scans.
  10. Demonstrate proficiency in operating CT equipment properly.
  11. Adhere to all scanning and filming protocols.

Required Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or GED.
  2. License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
  3. ARRT certification.
  4. Minimum of 2 years of Radiology experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

For New York residents, the hourly pay range is $19.47 to $38.08, based on factors like experience, education, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401(k). All benefits are subject to eligibility.
