Ouzinkie Native Corporation is seeking an Optometry Technician to support ophthalmologists in a clinical setting. You will obtain histories, perform vision testing, and assist with examinations using slit lamp equipment.
Position requires certification as Optometry Technician or military ophthalmic training, BLS, and prior clinical experience. Status in a VEVRAA contractor environment may apply and clinic work hours can include additional time as needed.
Provide a wide variety of duties to assist the optometrist/ophthalmologist as appropriate to the level of certification (i.e., COA, COT, or COMT).

Work is performed primarily in a clinical eye care or medical office setting. Employee works with patients, ophthalmic equipment, and medical supplies and frequently interacts with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other healthcare personnel.
Position requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and use of hands for operating ophthalmic equipment and assisting with patient care. Requires close visual attention, manual dexterity, and the ability to assist with patient positioning and routine clinical procedures.
