Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking an Ophthalmology Support professional to perform preliminary screening examinations and assist with procedures under the provider's guidance.

You will collect subjective and objective ophthalmic data, support basic optical and access functions, and participate in cross-training to aid the team. The role aligns with 40-hour weeks and day-shift scheduling, with some rotation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate is preferred. Will provide training and education for required skills.
• Previous health care experience or training in ophthalmology, optometry, and/or optical office preferred.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary screening examinations and/or tests to facilitate diagnosis and treatment by the provider.
• Assist the provider with procedures and care of the patient.
• Cross-training to support basic optical and/or access functions as needed.
