University of the Incarnate Word is seeking Academic Peer Tutors for Rosenberg School of Optometry for the 2026-2027 academic year. Tutors support students in courses such as Clinical Optometry I, Optics, Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Organ Pathology, and Ocular Anatomy and Physiology I.

Open to current RSO students who earned a B or higher in the courses they tutor. Position is part-time with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current Rosenberg School of Optometry student who has completed the course(s) they wish to tutor with a grade of B- or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and tutoring in small groups or individual settings.
• Share knowledge of course materials in selected coursework.
• Develop a strong working relationship with assigned students.
• Consult with faculty about topics students most need assistance with
• Keep accurate records of hours worked
• Perform other duties as assigned
