Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources, Inc. seeks a Medical Administrative Assistant to support the Optometry Clinic at Reid Medical Clinic, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX.

You will help deliver organized, efficient patient services to our military community and collaborate with clinical staff to keep the front office running smoothly. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings, weekends, or federal holidays.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross; hands-on training).
• Strong administrative and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments and referrals
• Maintain medical records and administrative documents
• Assist patients with scheduling and clinic inquiries
• Support daily optometry clinic operations
