Job summary

Unicarechc in Los Angeles is seeking a Medical Assistant II to assist optometry doctors in delivering high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for recording patient histories, performing pre-tests, and maintaining records while supporting a collaborative healthcare team.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, experience in a medical setting, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. The position includes a Monday through Friday work schedule with occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in an outpatient medical clinic or hospital.
• One (1) year of previous experience in optometric or other ophthalmic practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support doctors of optometry.
• Accurately record patients' medical and visual history.
• Perform appropriate pre-testing and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate patient optometric care with other Unicare departments.
