Job summary

Laredo Technical Services, Inc. seeks an Optometrist to deliver on-site provider services at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans, LA. You will perform eye exams, evaluate symptoms, educate patients, and prescribe corrective lenses during standard hours.

Requirements include OD degree, US licensure, and ABPO certification; residency/ VA experience is a plus. Join a mission-driven team supporting veterans with comprehensive eye care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of optometry experience and board certification.
• US citizen or permanent resident status required.
• OD degree completed with licensure to practice in US.
• VA hospital/ residency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient eye care, exams, and related services.
• Diagnose and treat eye disorders and conditions.
• Educate patients and discuss prescriptions and pre/post operative care.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical privileges and documentation.
