Job summary

Henry Ford OptimEyes in Michigan is seeking a licensed Optometrist to join our dynamic eye care team. You will collaborate with the General Manager and Optometrist in Charge to ensure patients receive the best possible care while helping the clinic achieve productivity and performance goals.

This role involves primary eye care, ocular health evaluations, refractions, eye glass and contact lens prescriptions, and management of eye diseases.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the program from a school of Optometry.
• Previous direct patient care experience.
• Experience in primary care optometry, preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide primary eye care to patients.
• Ocular health evaluation and screening.
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses.
• Manage eye diseases and conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and refractions.
• Offer specialty eye care (e.g., dry eye) as trained.
• Support staffing and clinic coverage.
• Develop relationships with Henry Ford Medical Centers and partners.
