Job summary

Henry Ford OptimEyes is seeking an Optometrist in Michigan to join a dynamic eye care team. You will provide comprehensive eye care, perform eye health evaluations, and manage eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions in a retail optical setting with flexible staffing to meet patient needs.

The role requires licensure in Michigan, and ongoing education to maintain credentials, with opportunities to develop relationships across Henry Ford Medical Centers and HFHS entities.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an optometry program.
• Direct patient care experience.
• Experience in primary care optometry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary eye care and ocular health evaluations.
• Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Optometrist in Charge.
• Maintain professional staffing and office coverage.
• Follow continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Develop relationships with Henry Ford Medical Centers and HFHS entities.
